(NYSE:PBH) today announced the election of Frank Palantoni as the Company's new Chief Executive Officer, effective April 1, 2006. Mr. Palantoni is currently President and Chief Operating Officer of Prestige. Peter C. Mann will remain as the Company's Chief Executive Officer until April 1, 2006, after which time he will continue as executive Chairman of the Board.

Commenting on Mr. Palantoni's election, Mr. Mann said, "In his relatively short tenure with Prestige, Frank Palantoni has made meaningful contributions to the operations of the Company, and we are very pleased to recognize those accomplishments with this important increase in responsibilities. He also held high level positions at Novartis Corporation, including CEO of Novartis Consumer Health.
